NCC’s Blackspot & Green Growth Remover is a powerful, ready-to-use solution, which is designed to eliminate unsightly plant stains, green growths, and lichens, including stubborn lichen ‘blackspot’ deposits, from all types of natural stone, concrete, and ceramic paved surfaces. The viscous formula of the product clings to unsightly contaminants, ensuring deep cleaning and easy removal, without damaging the substrate.

Preparation: Remove any loose debris, leaves, or surface dirt before applying NCC’s Blackspot & Green Growth Remover. For best results, apply in dry conditions when rain is not expected for a few hours.
Application: Shake or stir the product well before use. Apply the solution evenly over the affected area using a brush, sprayer, or watering can, ensuring full coverage. The viscous formula clings to contaminants, allowing it to penetrate deeply.
Activation Time: Generally allow the cleaner to work for 2 to 4 hours, and after an initial period of 30 – 60 mins, keep wetted with more solution as necessary, agitate and work in to the substrate with a stiff brush.
Rinsing: Thoroughly rinse and brush off the treated area with clean water. Generally a pressure washer will give the best results, alternatively if a pressure washer is not available, use a garden hose and adjustable nozzle, plus a stiff brush with a strong flow of water.
Heavily Soiled Areas: Where necessary, repeat the process. For very deep deposits, leave the second application to work for longer, e.g., overnight.
Note: Sealing the cleaned paving surfaces will reduce future dirt and growth build-ups, as well as making future cleaning easier.

Once your paving is clean, applying a protective treatment can help prevent future staining, dirt build-up, and green growth as well as making future cleaning easier. Aftercare: If needed, repeat the process for heavily soiled areas. Regular cleaning and sealing can help maintain a cleaner surface for longer.
